Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Playback Devices > right-click iD4> Properties > Advanced.Make note of the bit depth and sample rate stated within the drop-down menu and untick the Exclusive Mode boxes.Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording Devices > right-click iD4> Properties > Advanced.
We also recommend making sure that the Exclusive Mode boxes are NOT ticked, as this can prevent your interface from working with particular programs.
This can be resolved by making sure the input and output sample rates of your system are both set to be a matching sample rate used in your preferred software. Sometimes an application such as your DAW can take exclusive control over the sample rate of your iD4, causing other software to be unable to output audio through the interface.
